MATS is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the privilege to place approved advertising materials on the outside and inside of MATS buses, as well as the construction and placement of bus shelters with advertising space. The selected contractor will pay a percentage of its gross income inclusive of a minimum guaranteed fee to MATS for this privilege.

MATS makes every effort to solicit DBE participation for its product and service spending. Invitations to bid or general requests for information (RFI) are published in the local newspapers and routed through the various DBE liaison offices throughout the state. Whenever possible, MATS makes pricing inquiries directly to the DBEs listed on the Alabama Department of Transportation’s (ALDOT’s) Certified DBE Bid List for both large and small purchases.
