Catch the Lightning Route at Historic Union Station Transportation Center or board it anywhere along its famous trek.
Two Routes, the Green and the Gold, circulate the downtown area at 20 minute intervals between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday thru Saturday. The trolleys provide passengers transportation to many of the City’s Landmarks, Historical sites and Government centers.
Each trolley services both routes alternately so that riders can reach all tourist sites on both routes no matter which trolley they board. As an alternative, riders can board a particular trolley to get to a desired attraction quickly.
Both trolleys return to Union Station every 20 minutes and each stop on the routes have one trolley pass by every 20 minutes.
